IN PERSON SESSIONS

In-person talk therapy sessions take place comfortable and private setting allowing for face-to-face interaction between the therapist and the client that enhances the relationship and provides an added layer of connection and support. These therapeutic conversations are tailored to your specific goals and challenges. Whether you're addressing anxiety, working through relationship issues, or striving for personal growth, in-person talk therapy offers a dedicated space for you to explore and navigate your journey toward well-being.

TELEPHONE SESSIONS

Telephone counseling is similar to in-person or online counseling. Sometimes my clients prefer telephone counseling due to the convenience, or use it as an additional type of counseling when they are traveling. Having a session via telephone is a great way to make counseling more feasible. Phone sessions are scheduled just like in-person or video counseling sessions. When it is time for our phone session, I will call you at the phone number you provide.

ONLINE SESSIONS

For many people, it can be difficult to schedule an in-person counseling session, particularly in the aftermath of Covid-19. Busy schedules, frequent travel, living far from quality therapists, childcare issues, anxiety, physical limitations are a few of the many possible barriers to seeking help. I offer online sessions to make counseling more feasible for my clients. Research has shown that distance counseling, whether through online video or telephone, can be just as effective as face-to-face counseling. In our sessions, we will use secure, confidential technology services to save time and enhance your counseling experience.

HOW IT WORKS

STEP ONE // We offer a 15-minute phone call to see if therapy or coaching is the right fit for you and your goals. In this call, we’ll answer any questions you have and provide information on scheduling your first session.

STEP TWO // We provide general mental health in your initial intake giving us an organized yet organic therapeutic plan.

STEP THREE // Your NOVAA journey begins.


OUR POLICIES

RATES

Fees range from $170-200/50 min individual session. When requested, longer sessions may be available and my fee will be prorated accordingly. Group sessions are available upon request.

INSURANCE

We do not accept insurance but can provide you with the necessary paperwork to file for out of network benefits. Please contact your insurance company for details.

CANCELLATIONS

Please provide at least 24 hours notice for canceling sessions. Cancellations of less than 24 hours, or no shows, will be responsible for the entire session fee.

NO SECRETS ACT

We adhere to the no surprises act, also known as balance billing in regard to insurance reimbursement and billing for services. To learn more about this policy please click here.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

Under the law, we will provide you with a “good faith estimate” which is an estimate of the bill for services prior to services. To learn more about this policy, please read our full policy here.
